Thank you for your interest in Chevy Chase Estates Garden Club. We meet for lunch on the third Tuesday of each month, except July and August. We hope you'll join us in supporting and beautifying our community.
About Our Organization
Since its founding in September 1947 by Mrs. Kelso Grant Barnett, our club has a long history of monthly gardening meetings and events, such as garden and floral demonstrations and workshops, informational speakers, and trips to nurseries and other local places of interest. While originally conceived as an exclusive club for residents of Chevy Chase Estates, CCEGC is now open to any dues-paying member interested in gardens and gardening, regardless of residence.
Mission
Chevy Chase Estates Garden Club is a non-profit organization with the goal of contributing to our community at the local, regional, and state level. We regularly contribute to various community groups, including several environmental nonprofits and other local charities. We are also proud to have been involved in the implementation and ongoing care of the Monarch Butterfly Waystation at Emerald Isle Park.
